For our part, CCS has been ready to help people who are stuck in these kinds of situations. For nearly 30 years, people with mental health or substance abuse issues have been able to rely on the steady and solid guidance of Community Counseling Services. These people vary in ages, from children and teens, to adults and the elderly, with all sizes of wallets, since mental illness can be called an “equal opportunity afflicter.” When mental illness or substance abuse interferes with a person’s ability to function as well as possible, we are available to guide him along, through the troubles, with our counselors’ 120-plus years of collective experience. These confidential services are provided by 4 substance abuse counselors, 16 mental health counselors, 2 doctors, 2 psychiatric nurses, 1 psychologist, and seven case managers. Moreover, our agency works hard to make our services easy to access, effective in treatment, and affordable for anyone who decides to make a recovery that important.   From its beginning in 1978 ... ...
