From our beginning in 1978,Community Counseling and Wellness Centers (Formerly Community Counseling Services) has been a leading provider of affordable, high quality mental health services in Crawford County, Ohio. As a private, non-profit organization, Community Counseling and Wellness Centers (Formerly Community Counseling Services) relies in part on funding from the ADAMH Board of Crawford and Marion Counties, the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Seneca, Sandusky, and Wyandot Counties, as well as the United Way. Through these funding sources and our work with the community it has been possible to uphold our commitment to providing innovative and effective therapeutic solutions in our community for over 40 years.
Our Mission
We exist for the sole purpose of providing high quality, professional mental health and substance abuse treatment to the individuals and families of North Central Ohio, including Crawford, Marion, Seneca, Sandusky, and Wyandot Counties.
What We promise
To provide our community with the most effective and affordable treatment services available.
We are here to assist you in finding ways to handle an immediate crisis, a troubling experience, or a long-term problem. Our aim is to provide help and to offer hope to our community.
We offer a variety of mental health and substance abuse counseling services at affordable rates and accept Medicaid, Medicare, Private Insurance, and offer sliding fee scales when appropriate.
Our Strategic Plan
Our agency has a Strategic Plan that is made available to consumers and stakeholders. The Strategic Plan is a required document which lists our agency’s identified strengths and weaknesses in order of priority, and discusses a plan for addressing the most serious challenges.
The three areas of focus for the current plan include ensuring the agency’s financial viability, enhancing the quality of the care we provide, and increasing staff and clients’ sense of safety and security.
